Not everyone can have their own holodeck, but you can have a table with miniature holograms of women playing the harp flirtaciously. Until someone steals it.

Yeah, I went there. I would appologise for shit-comicing (like shit-posting, only in comic form), but I think that’s all I’ve ever done anyway.
So there’s a new Star Trek series and opinion on it is somewhat divided. It’s become one of those things like sexism or gender stuff which you basically can’t comment on without being verbally assaulted, so I figured I should set out my feelings, if anyone cares. I’m watching Discovery, I will keep watching it, I’m just finding it difficult to love because of all the things that I want it to be and it isn’t yet. Then again I had the same problem with Enterprise (and got over it, and loved the show eventually) and the JJ movies (and never changed my mind) so darned if I know anything.
Let’s see how long it takes anyone to notice this trolling nonsense :P
Hey look, this thing still works. That’s just as well, for the first time in a long time things are happening again. There’s never been a Star Trek series running while this comic has existed, and that makes me realise it’s been a very long time indeed. And now we get two new series because yes I’m counting The Orville, even if it will get cancelled after two seasons.
My only real problem with Discovery’s new redesigned Klingons is the curly spikes which are a pain to cut out in photoshop. As for the rest we shall wait and see. I’ve never seen a Star Trek I didn’t like. Eventually. Enterprise took a while, but then it was convinced it wasn’t Star Trek at first.
Looks like somebody was off sick that day at the academy. They say you shouldn’t put the punchline in the title, but somehow it didn’t feel like it was worth saving up until the end. Certainly not a pun worth putting on a peddle stool. More like a bit of a damp squid.
I wanted to see a little more of the mirror universe, but forgot how much work it is. My photoshop hurts. Still, I guess the fate of the planet Risa is the same in both universes, more or less.
And that’s why I’m not allowed to write for television. Among other reasons.
Wow, going back and looking at this episode (The Naked Now), they are all so young and, well, let’s just say that I’ve reached the age that hot-and-bothered Beverly Crusher is doing something for me.
I turned my comic off and on again; lo-and-behold it works again. I was going to call this comic “Reboot”, but I already have one with that name. It would’ve been a better title for this one. . . curse you me-from-some-years-ago.
Poor USS Yamato, not even your wave-motion gun could save you. Even as a kid I remember thinking this was a cheesy way to end an episode (Season 2 episode 11, Contagion) – back then all I had was a Commodore Amiga, and you did tend to kill viruses with a power-cycle.
You’re entering a realm which is unusual. Maybe it’s magic, or contains some kind of monster… The second one.
And while we’re at it, for some reason. . .
Until proper inspiration visits me I can always churn out nonsense like this.
Tuvix is possibly one of Voyager’s darker episodes. . . or at least it would be if it wasn’t just a remake of. . .
